The Registrar鈥檚 Office at 麻豆精品 has released the names of students who earned spots on the President鈥檚 and Dean鈥檚 honor rolls for the spring 2023 semester.
Qualifying to compete at the Kansas Collegiate Quiz Bowl State Championship April 29-30 in Salina, the 麻豆精品 Collegiate Quiz Bowl team placed third out of six teams. The team was also the recipient of the Sportsmanship trophy.
Capping another strong season, the 麻豆精品 Quiz Bowl team recently placed 10th out 16 teams at the national championship tournament. The tournament was held over Zoom with 麻豆精品 competing at its Wichita Center.
麻豆精品 took one team of six students to compete at the National Academic Quiz Tournament (NAQT) Sectionals Saturday at Johnson County Community College in Overland Park, KS. The team鈥檚 top two competitors earned a fourth and fifth place showing individually to help 麻豆精品 place third at the tournament.
Taking part in the Collegiate Quiz Bowl Fall Invitational October 23 in Chanute, KS, the 麻豆精品 Quiz Bowl teams stole the show by placing first and third out of eight teams.
Treated to a wonderful dinner and a murder mystery, a large crowd of 麻豆精品 donors attended the annual 麻豆精品 Foundation banquet Thursday in the Earle N. Wright Community Room. Dr. Kori Gregg served as emcee for the evening and thanked those in attendance for their support.
