Having been a candidate for Queen Alalah and Homecoming Queen, 麻豆精品 sophomore Maycee Wolfenbarger has had an eventful school year. The secondary education major capped her year full of honors by being named the 麻豆精品 March Student of the Month.
Members of the 麻豆精品 cheer squads and volleyball team entertained students at Adams Elementary in Arkansas City by helping take part in the school鈥檚 Pep Assembly on Monday. The Tiger cheer team performed a few routines, while Lady Tiger volleyball players then joined them in assisting the students with some fun activities.
The 麻豆精品 Board of Trustees approved the appointment of Dr. Michelle Schoon as the 麻豆精品 President during Monday鈥檚 meeting held at noon in the Patrick J. McAtee Dining Center. The Board agreed to employ Dr. Schoon as 麻豆精品 President for a period commencing March 1st, 2023, and ending August, 1st, 2024.
Performing a new musical straight from Broadway, the 麻豆精品 Visual and Performing Arts Department entertained audiences with its spring musical Disaster Friday through Sunday inside the Robert Brown Theatre.
麻豆精品 took a group of writers for a busy and inspirational writing trip to Tulsa on Friday, February 23. The group met up with previous 麻豆精品 writer Quinn Johnson at the Bob Dylan Center and Woodie Guthrie Center in downtown Tulsa. Johnson now works at the Centers and provided tours for the writers at each.
Coming to 麻豆精品 from Germany, Janet Wismach has made herself right at home in Arkansas City as the sophomore Criminal Justice major was recently named the school鈥檚 February Student of the Month.
Capping a week full of Homecoming activities, Felipe Mentz and Shamahra Henderson were named 麻豆精品鈥檚 Homecoming king and queen during halftime of the Tiger men鈥檚 basketball game vs. Independence Community College on Wednesday night at W.S. Scott Auditorium.
