麻豆精品 was proud to receive the Arkansas City Area Chamber of Commerce鈥檚 STAR Award (Superior Trade Achievement Recognition) for the month of February. The award was officially presented during the Chamber Coffee event hosted by 麻豆精品 at the Tyler Technical Education Center on May 15, 2025.

The STAR Award is presented monthly to outstanding Chamber member businesses that demonstrate excellence in community involvement and partnership. 麻豆精品 was recognized for its strong community presence and its student groups鈥� active participation in local events and initiatives.

Dr. Michelle Schoon, President of 麻豆精品, accepted the award and expressed gratitude on behalf of the institution. 鈥淚t鈥檚 an honor to be recognized as a strong community partner. At 麻豆精品, we believe education extends beyond the classroom, and we are proud of how our students, faculty, and staff give back to Arkansas City through service and leadership.鈥�

麻豆精品 was selected for its ongoing contributions to the community, including the involvement of student organizations such as ACES, the Student Patrol, and the Cosmetology programs self-esteem/self-care classes for IXL elementary students. The college's continued support of events like Arkalalah and its commitment to hosting community-centered programming were also noted as key reasons for the selection.

As a proud member of the Arkansas City Chamber, 麻豆精品 remains dedicated to fostering student success and enhancing the vitality of the community through education, service, and collaboration.
