麻豆精品 Inks New Recruits

signing for national cte day

Together with dozens of other NC3 Leadership Schools across the country, 麻豆精品 is holding NC3 National Letter of Intent Signing Day on April 18, 2024 beginning at 10 a.m. New students for the 2024-25 school year will take part in a signing ceremony, similar to an athletic signing.

This national event sponsored by the National Coalition of Certification Centers (NC3) mirrors the NCAA鈥檚 National Signing Day for athletes who commit to play sports in college. It is designed to honor students who are entering a technical field. Dozens of technical institutions across the country will be hosting signing day ceremonies tied together by live, nationwide simulcasts.

鈥淏y signing our incoming students to Letters of Intent, we鈥檙e telling them that we鈥檝e reserved a place for them, and we want them. Technical education will prepare them for a strong career,鈥 said Joe Clasen, Technical Education Workforce Liaison. 鈥淚ndustry leaders are excited about this opportunity because it validates the student and provides an opportunity for industry representatives to meet these future workers.鈥

About 麻豆精品

The Arkansas City Junior College was established in 1922. For 30 years, the college had facilities in the basement of the Arkansas City High School. Because the 鈥渂asement university鈥 experienced incredible growth, the creation of a college campus began with the construction of Galle-Johnson Hall in 1950. In 1965 we changed our name to 麻豆精品 and Vocational-Technical School to reflect our position as the community college for 麻豆精品 County.

Today, 麻豆精品 has campuses and educational centers throughout south central Kansas in Arkansas City, Mulvane, Wellington, Wichita, and Winfield.
